Off Topic

For my first blog entry, I decided to write about something that I do a lot but really gets on my nerves anyways. It's when people start talking about one thing and then go off to talk about another thing. Someone could start talking about, say, cats, and then finish up talking about sewer pipes. It gets on my nerves; and I bet that it gets on other people's nerves as well. It was like, one time, my friends and I started talking about pickles, and then someone said a funny story about a dog and a pickle and then for whatever reason we started talking about dogs and then somehow the topic veered of to Christmas trees, even though it was still October. I think that if you want to talk about an interesting topic (like pickles!) you should continue to talk about pickles unless it gets really boring, because that would make lunchtime a lot more interesting. Lunchtime is the only time during the day to talk, at least at my school (Blowing Rock Elementary). I got s little off topic in this blog entry about getting off topic, and if you think that it is weird I apologize. But sometimes people write about weird but true stuff.

  1. Out of random curiosity, how often do you read these comments?
