It's the year 2009! And I'm sending you my greetings from New Orleans, where my dad has a conference. While everyone else is studying and doing homework, we're watching tigers at the zoo! Our hotel faces the Mississippi river. Yesterday, while we were checking out our glorious hotel room, boats were going by outside! We're going to stay here until Thursday, and we're returning to school on Friday :( but that's okay. My first night was not off to a good start, because we got caught in a thunderstorm and got soaked and then my dad snored so loud I could not sleep. But the week can only improve from here, right?
P.S. Our hotel has 2 heated pools!
